International Back Office Coordinator – Europe
Fritz&Muller is partnering with a leading multinational company in the food sector to recruit an International Back Office Coordinator for its European operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rotterdam.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate and provide strategic oversight of all back-office activities across Europe, ensuring full alignment with corporate standards and compliance with local regulations.

Manage and streamline the flow of information between local offices and cross-functional departments, securing timely, accurate, and consistent operational execution.

Supervise, optimize, and continuously improve administrative, logistics, invoicing, and operational support processes.

Serve as the principal escalation point for operational matters, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining transparency with internal stakeholders.

Implement, refine, and enforce internal procedures and policies to drive efficiency, standardization, and service excellence.

Prepare and deliver performance reports, KPIs, and process analyses to regional leadership, offering insights that support strategic decision-making.

Lead, mentor, and develop back-office teams, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Work in close partnership with Planning to guarantee product availability in the right place at the right time.

Collaborate with Finance, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Customer Service to enhance service levels and strengthen client satisfaction.

Identify system gaps and partner with IT to implement solutions that accelerate digital transformation and streamline operational processes.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

At least 5 years of experience coordinating teams in international environments, ideally within the food, ingredients, FMCG, or B2B sectors.

Proven track record leading and managing mid-size operational or back-office teams.

Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Exceptional communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (ideally SAP), CRM platforms such as Salesforce, and MS Office.

Fluency in English is essential; additional languages such as German, French, or Dutch are highly advantageous.

Willingness and availability to work on-site in Rotterdam.
