A multinational company focused on ingredients for the food industry is seeking to add a Regional Sales Director EU to its team.

As the Regional Sales Director EU, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to expand the customer base and increase product sales across the entire region. Your primary focus will be on driving sales to distributors and the food industry, managing a B2B sales channel.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Achieve sustainable and profitable growth with regional and local key accounts by leveraging the company’s strengths.

  • Drive sustainable business opportunities that contribute to our clients’ success and differentiate us from competitors.

  • Provide technical support, product development, and customized value propositions for strategic markets and clients across the region.

Core Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's regional objectives.

  • Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity in the region to identify growth opportunities.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.

  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into emerging markets and segments.

  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products to effectively communicate their features and benefits.

  • Sales Forecasting: Develop sales budgets and forecasts, and track performance against established targets.

  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and agreements with clients to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and conduct performance analyses to identify areas for improvement and growth.

  • Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events throughout the region, promoting products and building strategic relationships.

  • Geographic Coverage: Oversee sales activities across North, Central, and South America, leading a team based in each region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).

  • Experience within the ingredients sector.

  • Proven experience in sales and account management within the food and beverage industry, with at least 5 years in international markets. 

  • Strong track record of consistently achieving and surpassing sales targets.

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in multicultural environments.

  • Proficiency in sales tools, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience in technical sales of company products.

  • Willingness to travel frequently within the region.

  • Bilingual in English (required).

  • Must reside in the EU.
