A leading multinational company in the Flavors and Ingredients sector for the Food industry is looking to add an International Sales Manager to its team.
STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for achieving sustainable and profitable growth with selected key accounts and local accounts by leveraging the company's competencies.
Drive sustainable business opportunities that contribute to the success of our customers and differentiate us from competitors.
Provide technical support and product development, as well as specific value propositions for the relevant market and strategic customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities.
Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expansion into new markets and customer segments.
Product Knowledge: Possess deep product knowledge to effectively communicate its features and benefits to customers.
Sales Forecasting: Develop sales forecasts and budgets, and monitor performance against targets.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales reports and analyses to track results and provide improvement recommendations.
Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote our products and network with potential partners.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Sciences, or a related field.
Proven experience as a sales manager and account management in the food and beverage sector. At least 5 years of experience.
Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
Experience in technical sales of company products.
Native or bilingual proficiency in GERMAN and ENGLISH.
High proficiency in Microsoft Office systems.
